**TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES**
- Provide leadership, direction and supervision for the successful running and operation of the District’s Food Service Department.
- Establish standards for preparation and presentation of meals in accordance with Dept. of Health regulations ensuring that food is prepared and served in a sanitary, safe environment.
- Develop and integrate safety procedures in all phases of operations.
- Establish financial objectives for the Child Nutrition program, use purchasing guidelines and bid standards for cost effectiveness; develop menus that meet all local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Ensure food production is efficient and effective in production and distribution.
- Complete required State and Federal reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies as they relate to Child Nutrition program.
- Ability to operate Nutrikids POS program or similar programs.
- Interviews and recommends the hiring of school lunch personnel; establish methods for training and evaluating work performance of staff.
- Establish standards for professional development and implement personnel policies and procedures as they relate to the Child Nutrition program.
- Performs other duties consistent with this title and additional duties assigned by the Superintendent of Schools.

Pay: $38,697.22 - $46,603.11 per year
