Taking Control of Your Diabetes (TCOYD) is currently seeking an enthusiastic and tech-savvy social media marketing expert to share our 501c3 organization with the world. This is an exciting opportunity to grow TCOYD’s presence across all digital channels by creating engaging and out-of-the-box campaigns to educate, motivate and connect with our diabetes community. The Social Media Coordinator will work closely with the TCOYD Marketing Team to create and execute TCOYD’s digital communications strategy to help the organization grow, while tracking important milestones to measure success.

Since 1995, TCOYD has educated and motivated people with diabetes to take a more active role in their condition and has also educated medical professionals caring for people with diabetes. For 25+ years, TCOYD was an “in-person” event organization, reaching thousands of people every year. In 2020, Covid-19 forced the organization to pivot quickly and successfully to online content, including virtual conferences, live webcasts, video content, blog, podcast and more. Now millions of people living with diabetes from over 200 countries can get education directly from TCOYD on their preferred platform anytime they want for free. TCOYD stands out from other organizations by leading with a positive tone and humorous approach. The Social Media Coordinator will work to get TCOYD’s educational content in front of as many people as possible, while keeping our fun-loving nature at the forefront.

**Responsibilities**
- Build a multi-media content calendar that is individualized to each channel and audience—including experience with basic design, video editing and copywriting
- Define most important social media KPIs and measure the success of every social media campaign—work with Marketing Manager to set goals
- Engage with followers, responding to comments and messages, and facilitate social media communities by developing discussions and responding to social media posts
- Collaborate with other teams including design, video production, and marketing to ensure brand consistency
- Use social media marketing tools such as Sprout, Ads Manager, CapCut and Google Analytics to schedule and track campaigns
- Research social media trends and inform management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience as a Social Media Assistant, Marketing Assistant or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube,and TikTok platforms
- Good understanding of social media KPIs including how to set and track goals
- Knowledge of social media management tools including Sprout Social, CapCut (or other video editing platform), Google Analytics, Ads Manager and more
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Additional Information**
- This is a full-time position with a hybrid work environment (a combination of onsite and remote time)
- The annual base salary range for this role will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs, and market demand
- This position is eligible to participate in TCOYD’s annual bonus plan
- There is an excellent benefits package including employer-paid health insurance plan, dental reimbursement, a 401(k)-plan eligibility that typically includes an employer contribution, and a combination of sick time/vacation time/PTO

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
