Office Assistant/receptionist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. This is a full-time position with regular office hours.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide excellent customer support by answering phone calls and responding to inquiries
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
- Proofread documents for accuracy and grammar
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments
- Maintain office supplies and inventory
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks
- Coordinate mail distribution and handle incoming/outgoing correspondence
**Skills**:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and office management systems
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with calendar management tools
