Customer Service Representative

**Work Schedule**:Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with potential for weekend shift rotations with pay differential after training period.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Responsible for daily interaction with customers and referral sources, performing all tasks relevant to order intake, reimbursement verification, and data entry.
- Answers incoming telephone calls, faxes, and initiating intake of customer orders.
- Initiate the admissions process for patient referrals.
- Verify and process data to determine patient eligibility and facilitate the delivery of equipment in a timely manner.
- Secure all required information and documentation as required by Medicare, Medicaid, and other Third-Party carriers.
- Be an information resource to patients, caregivers, and physicians on the Company's scope of service.
- Promptly respond to and resolve customer issues.
- Assist walk-in patients with the selection of equipment and supplies.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 2 years Customer Service experience in a fast-paced office setting, preferably within the DME industry or medical setting.
- Graduate of an accredited high school or equivalent.
- Professional, positive demeanor with excellent customer service skills a must.
- Willingness to learn to a new skill set.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow up.
- Must be able to lift and maneuver files/equipment of any weight up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to demonstrate basic MS Word, Outlook, and Excel skills (Pivot Tables).
- Brightree software experience is preferred.

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
