This position will be located in Titusville, NJ. Alternate locations may be considered in Raritan, NJ; Beerse, Belgium; Latina, Italy; Cork, Ireland; or Schaffhausen, Switzerland.

Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one “clean” ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains.

This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

This is a multi-year global business transformation initiative that will modernize and standardize our core business processes and products across Plan, Source, Make, Quality, Deliver, and Data, and enable our integrated data strategy through a single SAP S/4 HANA instance. As a key leader in the Innovative Medicine Transcend Team and the Value Chain Management organization, the Director is responsible for working with a team of functional experts in driving the process and capability integration between Advanced Therapies, new capabilities and new capacity teams, and the broader project team. They will enable integration across the SC functions to develop solutions that support end to end organization and requirements while maintaining the integrity and reliability of ERP template.

The Director will lead the integration of new business growth within the overall E2E business process design and integration as well as strive to enable and standardize core business capabilities, products, and functional integration points to meet critical business process needs across the functional areas. They will partner with the Advanced Therapies Business and capacity growth teams to gain a deep understanding of current and future business needs/capabilities. A key requirement is to bench-mark within life sciences and use the learning to bring improvement to process and data documentation, and product deployment. This leader will deploy their experience and knowledge in supply chain and digital tools to effectively influence a breadth of business partners and global process owners.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Own end-to-end business process mapping for Advanced Therapies and growth, scenario planning, solution design, integration, and design consistency across the impacted functions.
- Support development, maintenance, and alignment to the ERP Global Template as well as the program methodology.
- Ensure key business and project teams are integrated into the global template, designed, documented, and deployed in an E2E and effective manner within program timelines and scope.
- Lead an E2E team of direct reports in mapping the business processes/needs to select and develop the right solutions, while ensuring that the solutions work in a well-integrated way with the other functions.
- Lead and support key phases of program execution to drive design closure, build prioritization, integration across functions, business simulation readiness, and business and cutover readiness.
- In collaboration with senior leaders, ensure design aligns strategies and Roadmaps.
- Partner with global template team of Supply Chain experts in design, development, maintenance, and improvement of global business operations and integration points.
- Own establishment and implementation of Advanced Therapies and new growth project teams with design methodology, templates, tools, controls, and cadence.
- Manage cross-program process design interdependencies by working with respective partners to implement controls, cadence, and risk Mitigations.
- Partner with program leads to establish and deliver integrated project plans / schedules / work at appropriate quality, on time, and within budget.
- Partner with data governance team in shaping data standards that meet business capability needs.
- Ensure planning and execution of business simulation and validation/readiness.
- Support business adoption team to ensure readiness for new capabilities, site and business transition, and building individual and team capability.
- Develop and lead program presentations for senior-level Innovative Medicine partners to share project learning and program status.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Minimum of High School or equivalent diploma/degree is required; Bachelor’s / University or equivalent degree strongly preferred

**Experience and Skills**:
**Required**:

- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
- Business functional experience (i.e., Operations, Supply Chain, and/or Finance) working in a complex, multi-ERP / system environment and proven experience with large-scale SAP ERP replacement project(s)
