**Job Summary**:Under limited supervision, greets visitors at community's front entrance reception desk. Represents the community to visitors and callers in a professional, pleasant, and courteous manner; ensures their questions and needs are directed to the appropriate person.
- Greets all visitors entering the facility in a courteous, warm, and professional manner.
- Ensures all guests sign in, perform covid check, and locates correct resident or party to escort visitors, answer questions, etc.
- Notifies residents of visitors and obtains directions regarding their desires on receiving guests and handles them accordingly.
- Promotes positive image of the community and serves as ambassador of community to visitors.
- Provides informational brochures and packets, and/or directs potential clients to the Admissions Department. Ensures potential client information is communicated to the Admission office.
- Receives incoming phone calls and directs to proper residents and staff. Maintains and updates log of emergency numbers. Receives all the mail for the community and residents; sorts and delivers to mail locations appropriately. Collects outgoing packages and mail; ensures their proper handling, charging and collection by postal and shipping companies. Ensures delivery of newspapers to residents.
- May call for transportation as requested by residents. Maintain logs on resident check in/check out/hospitalizations.
- Alerts staff when residents may not appear as expected.
- May routinely perform basic typing, filing and clerical work as expected. Maintains community resident rosters and other community information as requested.
- Responds appropriately to resident emergencies by calling or contacting appropriate internal and external parties, according to established protocol. May also assist with disaster management efforts and activities during an evacuation crisis.
- Direct help calls from the resident to the appropriate party and follow up to make sure their issue has been resolved.
- Maintains communication log, transfer book, and all other forms located by concierge.
- Acts as Supervisor of the shift after Administration leaves.

**Qualification Requirements**: Has basic technical skills to complete few repetitive and well-defined duties, and has a basic knowledge of the organization in order to answer basic questions. Must be able to communicate in a friendly manner, keep a positive attitude, and maintain a professional appearance. Must have basic typing skills essential along with basic PC knowledge and word processing software. Ability to communicate effectively in English, understand and follow written and oral instructions. Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine correspondence. Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $20.01 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
