High School Testing Coordinator

St. Vincent Pallotti is a coeducational, college preparatory school of 430 students with a diverse student body, located in the historical district of Laurel, MD. In 2021, Pallotti celebrated its 100th anniversary of providing Catholic education to Laurel and the surrounding regions. Currently, Pallotti seeks a full time (10 month) Testing Coordinator to begin in mid/late
- August 2024

Under the umbrella of the School/College counseling office, the Testing Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of school-wide testing activities, including course assessments, PSAT, SAT, and Advanced Placement exams.This includes coordinating classroom-based assessments from academic departments with the Stephen J. Edmonds Learning Center, managing assessment resources, overseeing assessment administration, and ensuring assessment integrity and security. In partnership with our Learning Specialists, he/she will also be responsible for coordinating and proctoring daily tests and quizzes, mid-term, and final exams for students in the Stephen J. Edmonds Learning Center. Additional duties may include supporting students with homework, class work, and executive functioning skills.
- Manage the test administration logistics, including preparing test materials, securing testing locations, and coordinating with proctors and other support staff.
- Experience with coordinating standardized tests preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Proven ability to work with others and independently.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality; Discretion in communication between stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills; Ability to interact and communicate effectively with students with a variety of learning challenges and maintaining discretion between stakeholders; orally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle conflicting priorities.
- Comfort and fluency with current technologies.
- Upbeat attitude and sense of humor.
- Prior experience with adolescents in a high school environment is a plus.
- Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
