We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Assistant to join our Vacation Rental team. This job is out in the field working at the various properties to make sure they are 5star ready for guests and assisting guests that have questions or need missing or extra items, e.g. extra beach towels. **Responsibilities**:

- Inspect properties prior to guest check-in. Have "guest eyes".
- Make sure all amenities are at the property and in good shape for the guest.
- Learn and work with the technology we use from Google sheets to Hospitality Apps.
- Live in Oxnard or Ventura and have a reliable car. Willingness to be on-call.
- Be willing to work one at least weekend day and some holidays**
- Willing to pitch in with maintenance and labor: hanging string lights for instance.
- Learn to coordinate housekeepers calendars and inventory.
**Full-time Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday or Part-time that includes one or two weekend days. Holidays and weekends are our busy times.
- Knowledge of hospitality and eagerness to help guests with special requests.
- Strong team spirit. Ability to work with all other team members.
- Self-reliant. Ability to understand your job, what is expected and perform with excellence.
- Willingness to work outside the box, learning new tasks and responsibilities.
- Handyman skills are a plus
- Bilingual a plus

We are looking for a team player with a friendly disposition who enjoys working with the public. This person should have a keen eye for detail and be able to walk into a property and see the little things that need attention. They will be able to navigate technology, whether it be google sheets or a proprietary software that schedules cleaning or inventory. They need to live in the area in case there is an emergency - smoke detector beeping, missing beach towels, maybe a toilet plunge. Handyman skills are a plus - plunge a toilet, fix a cabinet hinge. Maintenance skills such as doing a property walk-through and touch up paint scuffs, tighten a bar stool leg, reset a router, etc. We are open to full or part-time work but one day must be a weekend - or both if you are working full time during the week. This is the vacation rental industry and while we have few check-ins/outs on weekends and holidays, but we do have guests that make requests on occasion. For us, the most important qualities you can possess are honesty, reliability and a strong work ethic. Come join our team
