**The Role**:
**_**To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.**_**
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.**
- Validate new product technical data packages to ensure the completeness of engineering documentation, identify missing data, and affirm availability of source file information. Coordination with OEM POCs for missing and/or additional data associated with products.
- Establish and maintain the production baseline throughout the product lifecycle to include new product development, product transfers, improvement, repair, and retirement. This is to include with the creation of multilevel product structures of products that are to be manufactured and/or repaired.
- Manage and oversee the Engineering Change Order System.
- Implement changes depicted with Engineering Change Orders
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, program management, and quality to ensure appropriate changes are accurately documented
- Release implemented changes and Engineering Change Orders into Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
- Administer the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and migrate documentation to the PLM upon approval.
- Creation of Method of Manufacture (MOM) within the ERP system, Epicor, for productions units.
- Assist in preparing official documentation for customer communication as necessary, such as Engineering Change Proposals, Notice of Revisions, Requests for Variance, and SDRL/CDRL reporting.
- Support other departments as necessary in their needs for Configuration Management information.
**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE**:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalency required;
- Prefer a 2 year degree plus a minimum of 4 years direct configuration management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of drawings, engineering documentation, and the product structuring of Bill Of Materials (BOMs) is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
**Physical Demands**:
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. May at times be required to work with some chemicals and/or bonding agents. Must be able to life and manipulate 25lb objects, sometimes over head. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
