Youth Basketball Referee

Job Overview:
We are searching for certified basketball referees to officiate our middle school age tournaments this summer in Philadelphia here at Exposure Central Tournaments Our first tournament will be on Saturday, June 29th in Philadelphia and it will run from 9am-3pm. This is a paid position that requires excellent conflict management skills and a passion for basketball and a great step to get more experience as a referee

**Duties**:

- Officiate basketball games and enforce the rules of the game
- Make fair and unbiased decisions during gameplay
- Manage conflicts and maintain control of the game
- Communicate with players, coaches, and spectators in a professional manner
- Ensure the safety of all participants on the court
- Provide guidance and clarification on rules when necessary

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of basketball rules and regulations
- Experience working with children in a sports setting
- Excellent conflict management skills
- Ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Effective communication skills to interact with players, coaches, and spectators

Note: This is a paid position of **$20 per game**, prior officiating experience is required. If you exceed expectations at the middle school tournaments, you will be invited back to officiate in our more competitive circuits.

**Job Type**: Seasonal

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekends only

**Experience**:
