**The Role**:
As a key member of the North America regional team (NAM), you will provide technical expertise in supporting clients, giving technical presentations and product demonstrations for pre-sales support, and developing high-quality, accurate interpretations of seismic data using the Geoteric software.

You will also be expected to share knowledge and expertise across the global Geosciences team and support continuous improvement activities.

Commitment, energy, confidence and a capability to engage directly and consultatively with a wide range of users are essential to deliver success in this role.

Full training will be provided in the use of Geoteric software, workflows and practices.

Progression within the role will focus on developing the commercial and technical skills required to convey the Geoteric value proposition to customers.

Further career progression could involve a senior geoscientist, business development, or sales role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical expertise to support the regional team during sales visits, evaluations and client support activities.
- Provide on-site consultancy and workflow support for Geoteric software.
- Deliver user support onsite and remotely.
- Expand the Geoteric user base, in line with commercial expectations.
- Deliver Geoteric services projects to agreed objectives and timeframes.
- Refer opportunities and key information to the Sales Team.
- Maintain and update the CRM system with activities.
- Create and deliver technical webinars.
- Assist in writing technical content for marketing materials.

**Personal Profile**:

- Master's degree in Geology or Geophysics, or a bachelor's degree with additional experience.
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience, ideally in an Exploration or Development group or with a Consultancy/ Services organization.
- Experience of interpreting 3D seismic data.
- Track record of working in an exploratory manner with clients and colleagues to

troubleshoot and identify a range of technical solutions.
- Experience in delivering project work to meet specific deadlines and requirements.
- Willingness to take on responsibilities with enthusiasm and commitment.
- Able to establish a high level of professional credibility with clients at all levels.
- Strives for technical excellence within the commercial considerations of the business.
- Demonstrates a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Networks effectively within client and professional organizations.
- Proactively shares knowledge of client organizations and activities.
- Able to express opinions assertively and constructively.

**Relationships**:
The Geoscientist reports to the Sales Account Manager and will work closely with the Senior Geoscientist.

**Location**:
The position is based in Houston with a combination of working in our offices and at customer sites, as required. Some flexibility to work from home is also provided.

**Travel**:
Most travel will be within the Houston area however you must be prepared to travel throughout the NAM region.
