is looking to add to the team a Geoscientist with proven competence in petroleum geochemistry. GeoTech is an integral part of the GEOLOG Group www.geolog.com .

JOB DESCRIPTION
Following initial integration/training in Head Office in Milan, Italy, based in key operating center of Houston, focused on US and Latin America.
Interacting with client and GeoTech team, candidate will take care of the design, execution and interpretation of geochemical studies for the characterization of the petroleum system based on mud logging and lab analyses. Active involvement in R&D projects is also an aspect of the job.

REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES
Master degree in Geosciences (PhD an advantage) with proven experience in petroleum geochemistry.
Practical knowledge of basic and advanced geochemical methodologies.
Knowledge of mud logging methodologies and solutions.
Specific experience in reservoir characterization of unconventional plays.
Experience in research and capability to write technical reports and scientific papers will be considered a plus
Excellent knowledge of English language, written and spoken. Spanish language is a plus.
Willingness to travel inside US and internationally.
