Our client, one of the premiere and innovative Deepwater GoM independents is seeking an experienced Sr. Geoscientist to help them continue their excellence in exploring and developing low carbon intensity Deepwater Gulf of Mexico hydrocarbons.
This is a full time, direct hire position with salary, bonus and an attractive LTIP along with full benefits including paying full medical/dental insurance premiums for the employee's family along with other above average market perks.
Keys/Qualifications for success include:
- Current U.S. Gulf of Mexico Deepwater exploration & development experience
- Prefer experience in deep Wilcox/Paleogene era sands experience along with deep water Miocene experience as well
- Excellent seismic interpretation/mapping skills
- 10-30 years' experience with an oil and gas operating company
- Masters' degree preferred
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Residency Status required
- Self starter and history of actual discoveries developed
