**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:

- As a Furniture and Relocation Specialist within the Bureau of Real Estate, you will be part of a motivated team responsible for the management of over 18 million square feet of owned and leased space across Pennsylvania, housing over 30 Commonwealth agencies, each with their own unique requirements. You will be responsible for assisting state agencies with detailed and complex furniture and relocation planning, as well as providing comprehensive guidance and direction in the design and planning of commercial furniture systems.- This position also involves conducting research regarding new and emergent strategies and solutions relative to space management in order maximize efficiency and simplify work duties to best serve our customers.

- **Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- ** Telework**:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, however you will be required to report to the office at least once per month in addition to traveling to the headquarters location and conducting site visits as required to perform essential job functions. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- One year as an Administrative Officer 1; **or**:

- Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; **or**:

- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

**Additional Requirements**:

- You must possess a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

**Preferred Qualifications (not required)**:

- Experience with reading and interpreting construction drawings.
- Experience using drafting software.
- Experience with commercial furniture systems.
