Leader Automotive Group is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AutoCanada, a publicly-traded company. Leader Automotive is AutoCanada’s first footprint into the U.S. market, and we currently have ten dealerships consisting of 23 different franchises and over 900 employees. We have a strong presence in the Chicagoland area, with eight dealerships and two more located in central Illinois. We are searching for talented individuals as we begin a new and exciting legacy in the U.S. market.

**Hyundai Lincolnwood is a union shop which will provide for an almost fully subsidized health plan and a fully subsidized pension plan.**

We are currently searching for an Automotive Parts Counterperson to join our team at Leader Automotive Group. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to be part of a new and exciting organization. You will not find a better dealer group to work for, period.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for selling various automotive parts and company products via face to face with customers and technician’s and inbound/outbound phone calls
- Generate revenue by selling and promoting sales of automotive parts and existing products.
- Assist walk-in customers with sales and services and respond to questions about pricing and arrival times.
- Process and review orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping data.
- Directly receive and process payment from walk-in customers.
- Monitor parts inventory to ensure minimum stocking levels.
- Assist with daily housekeeping duties.
- Assume other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Familiarity with in-house DMS systems.
- Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others and be a team player.
- Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends.
- Must be organized and a self-starter.
- Familiarity with the CDK system is a plus.
