**Position Overview**: We are looking for a motivated and responsible **Recruiting Compliance Assistant **to join our team The position is responsible for data entry, new driver screening, and overall administrative support to our Recruiting Staff.

**Shift Schedule**:Monday through Friday. Must be available to work varying shifts of 8-5; 9 - 6 ; 10-7.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare DOT/driver new employee files and onboarding packets.
- Send previous employment verifications. Complete incoming employment verifications.
- Assist in processing and checking files for corrections; contact drivers for file corrections.
- Complete DOT pre-employment, drug screening on drivers. Maintain all associated records.
- Perform data entry in various company software programs; maintain database records and compile reports from database as needed.
- Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Pre-screen driver applicants for basic qualifications by submitting online investigation requests, background checks and MVRs for potential new hire drivers.
- Assign all new hire and remedial online Safety training lessons.
- Prepare letters and spreadsheets as requested.
- Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required plus one (1) year office/clerical support experience.
- Transportation, supply chain or logistics experience is strongly desired.
- Knowledge of business office operations; of filing and administrative clerical operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with employees and the general public, maintain confidentiality in daily operations and conduct daily duties in a professional appearance and manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required. Advanced level Excel a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to evaluate multiple solutions to make sound decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
