We are seeking an

IT Specialist

who will play a crucial role in supporting our team, driving system-wide innovation, and implementing robust security measures to protect organizational data. This role involves maintaining, and troubleshooting existing systems, integrating various platforms and systems, managing equipment, and overseeing fiscal aspects related to IT.

Summary:

The Horizons IT Specialist will be responsible for the following:

Providing desk support and technical assistance

Supporting and managing Office 365

Responding to inquiries and support tickets

Diagnosing and resolving issues

Installing and configuring software/hardware

Maintaining documentation

Providing user training

Expanded:

Providing technical assistance: Assisting users with technical issues such as hardware and software problems, network connectivity, and troubleshooting.

Responding to inquiries and support tickets: Responding to queries and requests for assistance via phone, email, or in-person, and providing timely solutions.

Supporting and administering Office 365: Showcasing strong knowledge in Office 365 cloud management and administration.

Diagnosing and resolving issues: Identifying the root cause of problems and implementing solutions to resolve them efficiently, whether it involves hardware, software, or network-related issues.

Installing and configuring software/hardware: Installing, configuring, and updating software applications and hardware components as per user requirements.

Maintaining documentation: Keeping detailed records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations to track issues and facilitate future troubleshooting.

Providing user training: Offering guidance and training to users on how to use software applications (Office 365) and IT resources effectively to minimize recurring issues.

Ensuring security compliance: Implementing and enforcing existing security protocols and policies to safeguard systems, data, and network infrastructure against cyber threats and unauthorized access.

Qualifications :

Associate’s degree in the information technology field and 1-2 years tech support experience
