Job Summary:
**The AFS Project Management Team** drafts and administers construction project plans and budgets, and ensures that AFS projects are delivered:

- in compliance with all safety, health regulations, protocols & policies
- on time
- on budget
- at a high level of workmanship.

At the same time, the Project Manager pushes leadership out to the front lines by drafting and assigning work orders to AFS Squadron Leaders, and in the spirit of servant leadership offering logístical, training, requisition and any other professional support to team members who take responsibility for work orders.

Although AFS is 13 years old, it is currently in a new phase of scaling and building its cooperative governance structure, so expect a start-up energy when you sign up, and bring the initiative, creativity, passion, and grit you’ll need to thrive.

**The Data and Systems Specialist (DSS) **administers the AFS Work Order Data System based in Zoho, and provides a significant boost in AFS Ops Management capacity and effectiveness from a systems and data perspective. The DSS will inform and monitor the AFS Ops database and use the database to make sure work out in the field is planned and executed efficiently, smartly, and timely.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with Ops Director, Project Management Team & Tech Team to continue drafting and improving the AFS Work Management P&P
- Monitor large renovation projects and proactively issue and assign work orders
- Draft work order scope, budgets, deadlines and prerequisites
- Monitor work order progress and input progress data and notes into Zoho database
- Ensure highest level of AFS Ops data accuracy and completeness
- Ensure ops expenses are entered and properly allocated into database
- Ensure workers are punching into the right job numbers
- Orchestrate field action as indicated by systems intelligence.

- Regularly inspect AFS construction sites and confirm:

- compliance with health, safety, & code regulations, protocols and policies
- properties are properly secured and climate-controlled per
- workers and subcontractors are keeping safe, organized, tidy worksites and working harmoniously
- Monitor weather forecasts and alert managers and crews when weather may impede project plans
- Transport crew, materials and tools as necessary; provide accounting of the movement of materials and equipment
- Submit work order requests as necessary
- Attend project management meetings
- Provide mentorship and support to fellow workers
- Pursue appropriate trainings and certifications (eg, EPA Lead Renovator, OSHA, etc)

**Requirements**:

- Construction project management experience and/or education preferred, although other management experiences or training are acceptable
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases and publishing/presentation tools is a must, knowledge of Zoho and Google Sheets preferred
- Driver's license and proof of driving record.
- Own transportation to move between job sites.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
