**Raw Material - Procurement Specialist**

We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Raw Material Purchasing and Procurement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating contracts for raw materials essential to our production processes for the Supplement and Skin Care industry. Your primary goal will be to ensure a steady and cost-effective supply of materials while maintaining high-quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Sourcing and Vendor Management:

- Identify reliable suppliers for raw materials required for production.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and favorable terms.
- Continuously evaluate supplier performance and initiate corrective actions as necessary.

2. Cost Analysis and Budgeting:

- Conduct thorough cost analysis to determine the most cost-effective sourcing strategies.
- Monitor market trends and fluctuations in raw material prices to anticipate cost changes.
- Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage budgets for raw material procurement.

3. Contract Negotiation:

- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing to fit within project budgetary needs.
- Review contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements through renegotiation and optimization of contracts.

4. Quality Assurance:

- Collaborate with quality control team to ensure that purchased raw materials meet quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of suppliers to ensure adherence to quality requirements.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor communications.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance for management review.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to procurement activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in raw material purchasing, procurement, and contract negotiation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct cost analysis and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with procurement software.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Experience in supplement, beverage and skincare preferred

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $34.66 - $41.74 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing: 5 years (required)
- Supplement Industry: 5 years (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Irvine, CA 92618 (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:
