**Job Description** JOB SUMMARY**:
Supervise department personnel in performing preventative maintenance tasks on the facilities and machinery. Plan for, schedule and manage repairs to machinery and the facility. Plan and execute large machinery and facility projects and CAPEX. Create and or maintain a preventive maintenance program that supports the company's safety and production needs. Ensure all work is scheduled and performed in a safe and efficient manner. Recommend and manage subcontractors which have special skills sets to fill in any gaps in the Maintenance team to support the safe and efficient operations of the Claremont New Hampshire location.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Coordinate and supervise activities of personnel, determining specific work assignments.
- Ensure availability of materials, anticipating requirements and reordering.
- Interface with production shop supervisors as needed.
- Ensure the work environment is safe by following prescribed guidelines.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
- Accept new responsibilities as identified by requirements of the Maintenance Department.
- Ensure employees receive proper training on company equipment as required by OSHA regulations.
- Ensure repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities are performed in a neat workmanship like manner.
- Ensure all work is performed and completed in conformance with any related codes, guidelines or standards established by a manufacturer or regulating body.
- Perform other job duties as required by the supervisor.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- An Associate’s Degree or Trade License preferred.
- Must have strong knowledge and understanding of the following area:

- Building systems
- Hydraulic circuits
- Welding equipment
- Steel shot and grit blasting equipment
- Metalizing Equipment
- Indoor cranes
- Exterior cranes
- Personal computers
- Scissor Lifts
- Boom Lifts
- Fork lifts
- Tractors and Trailers for heavy haul

**Physical Demands**

**Work Environment**
Routine exposure to steel fabrication environment and occasional outside weather conditions, excessive noise levels and is regularly exposed to vibration. Frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to fumes, vapors, or airborne particles. Occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
