Create, modify, and manage production schedules. Monitor inventory levels, regularly provide production status updates to management, and facilitate the timely delivery of products to customers. Closely monitor the production process to ensure that production orders are completed on time. This position reports to the Master Scheduler.

**Job Category**: Hourly, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate purchase orders to create suitable production schedules.
- Estimate the amount of material, equipment, and labor required for production.
- Promptly address and resolve production issues to minimize delays in production.
- Coordinate production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.
- Recommend viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality.
- Effect changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.
- Compile status and performance reports and submit them to management in a timely manner.
- Promptly inform the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.

**Secondary Responsibilities**:

- Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong decision making ability.

**Requirements and Skills**:

- Proven work experience as a Production Planner or Scheduler.
- Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
