We are seeking a skilled Scheduler/Pre-Registrar to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and processing patient scheduling requests, ensuring accurate and timely registration of patients for outpatient tests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling systems to ensure no conflicting appointments
  • Ensure pre-registration accuracy rate meets departmental guidelines
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of medical insurances and patient financial responsibility
  • Educate patients on registration process and documentation requirements
  • Schedule patient exams in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in patient scheduling or patient access
  • Office experience in a healthcare environment, medical terminology, and knowledge of CPT/ICD-9 codes preferred
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • High School Diploma or GED required
