**THE POSITION**:

This position is responsible for collection of delinquent taxes through the wage garnishment and bank attachment methods. **DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
As a Tax Account Collections Technician, you will inform taxpayers or their representatives of delinquent taxes, non-filed returns, or other documentation that must be submitted. You will have the opportunity to occasionally meet with taxpayers and/or their representative, in person, to discuss delinquencies on account and retrieve needed documents for processing. Additional tasks will include collecting or verifying delinquent information, explaining procedures and regulations to taxpayers, determining tax liability due, and processing payments received.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- ** Telework**:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time after successfully completing in-office training. You will be required 1 day in the office per month. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

- Three years of experience in the collection of taxes; **or**:

- Any combination of experience and training which provides the applicant with the required knowledges, skills and abilities.
