And when that plan is critical to protecting our defense infrastructure, we need strategic policy analysis. That’s why we need you, a cybersecurity policy specialist with the expertise required to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience.

As a Cybersecurity Policy Analyst on our team, you’ll lead the assessment of the DoD's cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risk. You’ll assist in the development of new policies as new DoD programs are implemented. You’ll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards.

**You Have**:

- 5+ years of experience in a professional work environment
- 5+ years of experience with using Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- 3+ years of experience working in Cybersecurity Management and Policy analysis
- Experience as a DoD action officer or cybersecurity policy analyst
- Experience with the DoD issuance process
- Experience in drafting senior-level correspondence, including program briefings, congressional reports, or senior-level talking points
- Knowledge of policy analysis, development, and coordination
- Ability to independently analyze complex policy issues
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED

**Nice If You Have**:

- Experience with supporting cybersecurity assessments or cyber-risk management initiatives, including a proactive approach to mitigating security risks
- Experience with defense industrial base (DIB) cybersecurity programs, standards, processes, and practices
- Experience with NIST SP 800 series, FedRAMP, DFARS, and contractual requirements
- Experience with process improvement methodologies, including defining, measuring, analyzing, improving, and controlling
- Experience working in a team environment, fostering collaboration, and achieving collective goals
- Experience with analyzing a large body of data and creating rich, graphic visualizations with modular design of dashboards
- Experience with developing user interfaces or dashboards, including metrics, filters, charts, graphs, and tables
- Ability to effectively support multiple working groups and engage both internal and external stakeholders, facilitating productive communication and collaboration
- Ability to effectively manage, execute, and track assigned tasks to meet required deadlines, while also proficiently performing administrative duties as directed
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or IT

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate
