**About Us**: Habitat for Humanity LaSalle-Bureau-Putnam Counties, Inc. is a mission-driven organization dedicated to eliminating poverty housing in our three-county geographic service area. We believe decent, affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities. Habitat works together with families, local communities, volunteers and partners to build homes, build communities, and build hope. We advocate for policy reform to remove systemic barriers to low-income and historically underserved families accessing affordable shelter.

We are seeking a visionary and dynamic leader to serve as our Executive Director. In this role, you will lead Habitat for Humanity LBPC in achieving its mission and maximizing its impact. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and inspirational leadership to our dedicated team.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the organization's mission and goals.
- Assure a safe and healthy workplace is provided to employees, volunteers, partner families served, customers and others who are on-site at HFHLBPC construction and ReStore sites.
- Assure a sufficient workforce of paid staff and volunteer positions are recruited, on-boarded, trained, supervised, and evaluated.
- Lead and mentor staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Oversee the implementation of new home construction and home repair programs for eligible populations in the HFHLBPC service area.
- Assure that board and volunteer committees are supported, coordinated, and guided in the implementation of their objectives.
- Ensure that financial procedures are in place, revenue goals are acheived, and expenditures are managed in a manner that fully complies with applicable law and regulation.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business administration, social sciences, or a related field required;
- Proven experience in nonprofit leadership roles, with a track record of success in strategic planning, program development, and fundraising.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, grant writing, and revenue diversification.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, both in organizational practices and programmatic initiatives.
- Passion for Habitat for Humanity’s mission and dedication to serving the community.
- Valid drivers license with reliable transportation required.
- Some knowledge of building materials And methods preferred.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a visionary leader to make a significant impact on our organization's future growth and success.

Pay: $62,000.00 per year
