Front Desk Receptionist/customer Service

Dermatology office is seeking a front desk person who can multitask answering phones and checking patients in and out of appointments along with other responsibilities. Other duties include things such as verifying insurance, collecting and posting payments, accounts receivable & collections. This is a very busy practice and requires someone who works well under pressure. Knowledge of computers and software a plus. We also use Nextech as our EMR. The position is a 72 hour pay period Mon-Thur and alternating Fridays.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as necessary
- Provide information to callers and visitors, ensuring accurate and timely responses
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, file management, and order entry
- Coordinate projects and assist with office management duties as needed
- Assist with customer support inquiries, resolving issues or escalating them to the appropriate department
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a similar role as a receptionist or administrative assistant
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with phone systems and office equipment
- Exceptional customer service skills

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
