**About the Role**:

The** Learning and Development Specialist (Remote within the U.S.)** will collaborate with the Director of People on the creation, execution and delivery of enterprise learning and training strategies and programs. This role will be integral in making training programs more efficient and accessible for employees in a multi-site healthcare organization. This position will partner in conducting ongoing assessment of training needs, creating, designing, and implementing new learning methods and activities, and facilitating training programs for employee development.
**Responsibilities**:
- Needs Assessment & Program Development
- Partner with Human Resources and Talent Development teams to ensure alignment with business needs, regional, departmental, or enterprise initiatives and/or development support
- Assist in the design of curriculum, programs, or learning solutions as appropriate
- Work with both internal employees and external vendors to develop and deliver training
- Training Delivery
- Coordinate logistics of enterprise learning and training activities, supporting specific departments where needed
- Partner in the delivery trainings in all formats: classroom, virtual, on-the-job, synchronous, asynchronous, etc.
- Facilitate learning, encourage participation, and motivate learners
- Process and Technology
- Participate in the design and development of instructional materials in a variety of learning formats ensuring that learning technologies are leveraged where possible
- Use LMS to manage and optimize the administration of all training activities and learner data including: transcripts, compliance records and certification
- Monitor training activities, gather content feedback, and work with SMEs to determine effectiveness / impact of training to provide recommendations for all training solutions based on business needs
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school, at least 4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity using a Learning Management System, including authoring tools
- Proven experience successfully coordinating logistics for trainings in a business setting
- Project management experience a plus
- Ability to prioritize activities
- Familiarity in instructional design
- Independently motivated with proven ability to follow through on initiatives
- Highly engaging and collaborative style in working cross-functionally
- Ability to encourage participation and motivate learners
- The technical aptitude or experience to work with an LMS, online development tools, and key Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to travel to multiple office locations, up to 50% of time
- Possess excellent time management and organizational skills; is a self-starter
- Consistently demonstrate tact, discretion and good judgment
- Able to work effectively with supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
