In addition, a Project Superintendent is responsible for maintaining professional and productive relationships with the Owner and the Architect as well as effective coordination with Morris’ staff and executives. Is responsible for promoting the interests of Morris and its clients in all matters. A Project Superintendent is responsible for safety and must implement the policies of the Company vigorously and successfully. The appearance of the project site reflects the image of the Company: clean, organized, and business-like.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Organizes project site properly including plans, files and project binders and keeps project office clean.
- Keeps project clean from debris and ensures that all material set onsite is organized and properly stored.
- Must be on site at all times when subcontractors or vendors are working in order to maintain appropriate supervision off activities.
- Completes three week look-aheads weekly and distributes to subs for execution.
- Maintains project schedule end date by utilizing milestones and critical path management. Is responsible for all initial and subsequent contact with subcontractors to ensure the installation dates are met.
- Completes daily reports and photos for proper documentation.
- Holds Weekly Foreman meetings to review schedules and Safety Topics.
- Completes Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s) Safety sheets for all work that may be considered a high safety risk.
- Complete and maintain OSHA 30 and CPR training as required.
- Make jobsite safety a priority and maintain safe jobsite. Set an example by wearing proper safety gear at all times and requiring the same of all subcontractors.
- Properly supervises subcontractors to ensure that all plans and specifications are met.
- Works with project management staff to ensure timely delivery of all materials.
- Properly coordinates with all owner vendors for timely install.
- Ensures that all work put in place meets Morris, Inc’s unwavering quality control standards for a mínimal punchlist. Quality control should be a daily priority.
- Properly completes all punchlist, training, and certificate of Occupancy as required in the owner contract.
- Maintains a proper as-built set for the duration of the project.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Experience: Ten to fifteen years of supervising projects independently. Ability to direct estimating, purchasing, engineering, accounting, and construction functions. Project experience includes managing multiple, simultaneous projects of various building types.

Other: Strong, working knowledge with various computer systems. Word processing, spreadsheet, and scheduling software. Individuals already in our employ must have a working knowledge of accounting systems and be fully versed in job cost accounting. Must be able to create initial project schedules and be able to analyze project schedule impacts. Uphold high level of professionalism, good interpersonal and leadership skills.
