Are you a warm and welcoming individual with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences? Redbird, a leading company in Chicago, is seeking a dedicated Hospitality Associate to join our team. As a Hospitality Associate at Redbird, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Provide information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs
- Manage reservations and room assignments
- Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Ensure all guest services areas are well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computer systems and reservation software
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
