**Primary Essential Role: Specialized Lab Test Coordination**
- Prepare testing kits for upcoming patient appointments
- Educate patients on proper procedures for completing specialized lab tests
- Coordinate scheduling for in-office lab draws
- Ensure error-free submission of all supporting documentation and online requisitions
- Update patient chart with specialized lab results
- Monitor & track test kit inventory & expirations; order new as needed
- Attend appropriate or necessary specialized laboratory online webinars

**Secondary Essential Role: Internal Team Concierge**
- Intake Specialist supporting Wellness Coordinator & BHRT Coordinator
- Upon approval by Coordinator schedule initial patient consults and collect consult and/or required lab fees using virtual terminal
- Update patient charts with incoming patient intake forms
- Fax records release forms to other providers to gather medical history, follow up as needed to ensure records are received
- In the event of delayed necessary information, communicate any updates in scheduling with patients
- Document new peptide orders
- Assist with peptide labeling & preparation for patient pick up

**- Patient Coordinator backup - at least one day a week**
- Answer incoming patient phone calls; transfer calls as needed
- Check in patients and notify appropriate team member of arrival
- Offer and serve beverages to incoming patients
- Relay messages via EMR system to nurse team and/or appropriate physician
- Monitor patient portal messages & respond as needed
- Input transaction charges for impactful therapy services as needed & collect charges upon patient check-out
- Schedule outgoing patients for next appointment(s)
- Ensure patient is provided with any follow up lab orders or other physician written instructions
- Daily index incoming fax queue and accurately label to corresponding patient chart
- Monitor incoming lead tracking sheet & assign to appropriate team member for follow up
- Update lead tracking sheet with any new incoming phone leads

**- Specialized internal “concierge” service**
- Office caregiver for canine office mascot
- Assist with daily laundry
- Inventory and stock incoming supplements as needed
- Refill soaps and sanitizers
- Minor kitchen clean up
