Job Overview:
We are seeking a Temporary Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.

**Summary/Objective**

The Front Desk/Payroll Assistant possesses excellent customer service skills, and is proficient in office management tasks, and provides administrative support for day-to-day payroll operations. This position offers the opportunity to be the first point of contact for our organization, providing exceptional service to clients and visitors.

**Essential Functions**
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls using proper phone etiquette
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Handing checks to employees as they come in and update check log
- Provide to employees payroll reports (wages, W2, employment verification, etc.) as requested
- Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Performs customer service functions by answering or assisting employee requests, questions, and/or concerns
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area
- Assist with some payroll duties as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and respect for the privacy of employee records**Physical Demands**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**

This is a temporary full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent required, plus one year of office/clerical support experience
- Bi-lingual, Spanish and English
- Excellent computer skills, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to work independently
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be reliable and precise - attention to detail is important
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving/judgment skills, and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Being an effective team player
- Reliable attendance
- Self-motivated and team-oriented

**Preferred Qualifications**
- 1+ years of payroll experience
- Experience with Famous Software
