**FINANCIAL OFFICER (POST-AWARD)**, _Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL)_, to perform comprehensive pre
- (10%) and post-award (90%) financial research management. Will manage a complex portfolio of post-award finances, advising principal investigators and project leaders on all aspects of research administration and implementing their subsequent decisions.

**- REQUIRED_: B.A./B.S.; five years' accounting/finance experience with decision-making responsibility or in a nonprofit research administrative function; experience with federal contracts, administrative rules, cost principals, and regulations under OMB guidelines; experience with pre
- and post
- award); financial forecasting and financial data interpretation skills; discretion and judgment with confidential information; excellent interpersonal, customer service, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills; proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and internet research; and knowledge of enterprise financial systems, grants management tools, and multidimensional databases. Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage numerous awards with varying degrees of complexity while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment; interact effectively with a variety of constituents, including faculty, staff and sponsors; learn new procedures and systems; contribute to a team effort to improve and streamline complex work processes; and work both independently and collaboratively. _PREFERRED_: financial administration experience in a university/hospital/nonprofit, experience working with federal sponsors (e.g., NSF, DoD, and NIH), and Cognos experience. **Job #24128-8
