**Role Summary**:
The Quality and Compliance Manager will oversee the Rheo quality and compliance programs for Rheo products and suppliers. This includes managing internal and external quality and regulatory compliance issues relevant to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries where the products are sold.

**Objectives**:

- Technical_:

- Quality Management Systems (QMS): Ensure the ongoing effectiveness of
QMS by regularly reviewing processes and implementing improvements.
- Regulatory Strategy and Monitoring: Keep abreast of regulatory updates and
develop strategies for timely implementation.
- Risk Management: Identify compliance risks, develop corrective actions, and
provide preventive guidance.
- Audit Management: Lead audits, address findings, and ensure ongoing
compliance.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with various departments to
integrate quality and compliance in all product stages.
- Supplier Oversight: Manage supplier qualification and monitor performance to
maintain quality standards.
- Training and Development: Deliver training to enhance quality awareness and
ensure compliance across the organization.
- Customer Complaints Management: Handle complaints, implement corrective
actions, and enhance product quality.
- ISO 9001 Compliance: Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 standards through
regular audits, continuous process improvement, and staff training.
- Supervisory_:

- Team Management: Oversee the hiring, training, and management of the
quality department staff, ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and
constructive, promoting professional growth and operational efficiency.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Education_:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Quality Management, Regulatory
Affairs, or Business Administration
- Software_:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,
Teams)
- Proficiency with an Enterprise Resource Planning software (Epicor Kinetic
preferred)
- Experience_:

- 5+ years of experience in a quality management position
- 3+ years of team management experience
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of work experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries
- Knowledge of EU regulations

**Working Conditions**:

- Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to access all areas of the facility to determine needs
