What You'll Be Doing:
The Financial Analyst:

- Monitors and analyzes accounting allocation and spending data to determine financial resources required to develop budgets.
- Tracks expenses, inventories, and budget balances. Measures actual performance against budget.
- Prepares forecasting reports and trend analysis. Develops recommendations for budget allocations that conform with budgetary policies and limits.
- Utilizes financial modeling and data analytics tools.
- Knowledge in KPI dashboard
- Perform detailed financial analysis of hospital operations, including revenue and expense trends, budget vs. actual variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize advanced statistical and financial modeling techniques to identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the hospital's annual budget, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Support ongoing forecasting efforts to provide timely updates on financial performance
- Manage financial data collection, validation, and consolidation from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Create and maintain databases and data visualization tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and scenario modeling to support strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with other departments, including Revenue Cycle, Operations, and IT, to gather data and insights that contribute to financial analyses and reporting

What We're Looking For:
Per Diem, Day Shift

The successful financial analyst will have at a minimum:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
- Ability to get things done and work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
