**Representative Job Duties**: _The list that follows is not intended as a comprehensive list; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities. _
- Works with the Community Outreach Director and Community Outreach Manager as a key player in comprehensive planning of and creating exhibitions, design concept, research, text writing, layout, and installation of Arts & Heritage Center exhibits.
- Under the guidance of the Community Outreach Director, responsible for producing and preparing event and facility marketing material including news releases, flyers, schedules of events, videos, pamphlets, and brochures for the Art & Heritage Center and Town of Oakland Events.
- Develop content and update the Center and Town website, social media, brochures, and various databases including the Oakland Archive.
- Coordinates the preservation of the Arts and Heritage Center artifact collections, and historical documents.
- Serve as back-up when needed to ensure coverage for the Arts & Heritage Center, including greeting visitors and providing information on exhibitions, programs, and Center Events.
- Provide event assistance, planning, and staffing support for Town and Center events, as determined by the Community Outreach Director.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Knowledge of methods and techniques of public relations, social media, and graphic design.
- Knowledge of principles pertaining to the performing and visual arts.
- Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities effectively, adapt to changing circumstances to meet strict deadlines under time constraints while taking responsibility for your own workload.
- Ability to analyze data and formulate recommendations based on the data presented.
- Advanced Skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Canva. Working knowledge with Cricut, Adobe Creative Cloud Software, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills from both a business and technical perspective. with the ability to present to stakeholders at all levels.

**Education, Experience, and Certifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- (2) years of Customer Service experience, (2) years of graphic design experience, (2) years of social media content
- State of Florida Driver?s License

**Essential Physical Skills**:
Requires sedentary work involving standing or walking for brief periods, exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular basis, and moderate dexterity in operating office equipment. Repeated bending and lifting; occasionally may need to lift up to 25 pounds. The position requires normal visual acuity and field of vision, hearing and speaking abilities.
