**Major Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Receive and direct incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff.
- Greet visitors, respond to their inquiries and/or direct them to appropriate personnel in accordance with district and department policies and procedures.
- Maintain a schedule of appointments and make travel arrangements for Chief Financial Officer.
- Prepare correspondence, forms, and reports as directed by Chief Financial Officer.
- Make meeting arrangements for Chief Financial Officer including preparing materials, scheduling, setting up facilities, and arranging equipment.
- Assist staff in preparing purchase orders and payment authorizations.
- Review invoices and process in accordance with established procedures.
- Compile, maintain, and review purchasing receipts and account codes. Contact staff and vendors to resolve problems with purchase orders, invoices, and shipments.
- Compile, maintain, and file all reports, and other documents as required.
- Display tolerance necessary for accepting supervision for and criticism of job performance.
- Work in harmony with supervisory, faculty, and peer personnel.
- Use professional information discreetly and judiciously.
- Support and follow administrative and Board policy.
- Represent the school system to the community in a positive, professional way.
- Maintain a sincere, friendly attitude toward patrons.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Chief Financial Officer.
