An all-star Assistant Manager will relish the task of developing new hires for Vale Food Co. while taking care of the day-to-day workings of the restaurant, working with local marketing coordinators on the team, managing budgets and keeping track of all activities. Whether it's taking inventory or holding new hire training seminars, our ideal Assistant Manager can keep all of the balls in the air.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Bachelor's or advanced degree is preferred but not mandatory, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-2 years of restaurant experience required
- Self-starter and independent thinker with the ability to understand business fundamentals from an opportunity or challenge perspective, then convert that insight into sustainable strategies and action plans for growth
- Entrepreneurial approach to driving a business with an ability to influence the organization
- Strong communication skills and capable of independent decision making and setting business vision
- Ability to prioritize and multitask against several complex projects at a time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
