**Minimum Qualifications**

Bachelor’s degree in epidemiology, public health, biology, infection control, statistics/biostatistics, biomedical science, environmental health, environmental science or a closely related degree and four years of professional post-degree scientific research experience in epidemiology or related field; or a Master’s degree in one of the above mentioned fields and three years of post-degree professional scientific research in epidemiology or related field; or a Doctorate in one of the above mentioned fields and one year of post-degree professional scientific research in epidemiology or a related field.

**Duties Description**
- Oversee sampling procedures and ensure that monthly samples are prepared in a timely manner, and ensure that annual birth file is sent to CDC in a timely manner;
- Oversee data collection and management procedures including mailing and interview procedures;
- Develop a high level of proficiency with all PRAMS software, including PIDS, the PRAMS Integrated Data Collection System, and PRAMStat;
- Align analysis plans with key state initiatives including the Prevention Agenda and other Maternal and Child Health initiatives: - Organize relevant analytic workgroups to develop reports and data products including Data to Action reports, presentations, and professional manuscripts;
- Coordinate with NYC PRAMS program to produce statewide dataset; and - Use SAS and Tableau to update and expand components of the PRAMS surveillance website and PRAMS dashboard that are tailored to major stakeholder’s needs and assist with assessment of burden; identification of populations with large disparities; targeting of interventions; and evaluating progress. Responsibility 4: Coordinate with statewide partners, provide technical assistance, respond to data requests (15%) Illustrative Tasks: - Act as the liaison between New York State (including the Project Director and the Steering Committee) and CDC in matters that relate to PRAMS on an ongoing basis;
- Organize the Steering Committee and convene and attend meetings;
- Present as necessary to Maternal and Child Health partners to support programmatic goals and major strategy implementations;
- Responds to PRAMS data requests including those from internal DOH and outside researchers; and - Provide technical assistance for the use of data in planning and evaluating interventions and services.
