Head of Planning

The Head of Planning will lead the global supply chain planning function. This covers both the demand and supply planning and any on site planning reporting into ISC. The goal is to ensure for both own produced and third-party product portfolios that service to the customer is in line with agreed fulfilment plans.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Lead planning functions**
- Continual optimization of inventory investment while delivering on commercial strategy and set service levels, this includes responsibility and accountability for demand and supply analytics, forecasting and planning functions.

**Supply Chain setup and improvements**
- Driving supply chain efficiency resulting in optimized costs and excellent customer experience. Proactive identification and implementation of improvements

**Report and improve key performance metrics**
- Such as OTTP, inventory levels, scrappage and fulfilment rates.

**Lead and develop the assigned employee**
- All activities involve a strong focus on reporting and measuring KPIs, support failure analysis and improvement activities and managing a broad spectrum of stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Several years of planning experience in a high SKU environment is required.
- Experience working within the Life Science or Biotechnology industry is preferred.
- Proven experience with ERP planning systems such as Oracle, SAP or ideally IFS.
- Strong skills in: relationship management, communication and teamwork.
- Ability to work well with multicultural teams in a matrix management environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally internationally.

**Education**
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics, Business Management or a related field is required; MBA or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is strongly preferred.
