We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales in Southern New Hampshire to lead our sales team. The Head of Sales will be responsible for achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team. This role requires a strong combination of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on sales ability.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a high-performing and high-earning sales team of 10+ professionals.
  • Set individual sales targets and quotas, and motivate team members to achieve them.
  • Provide coaching and professional development to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  1. Sales Strategy:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand our customer base and ensure a strong market presence.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.
  1. Customer Relationships:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the company to ensure customer satisfaction.
  1. Performance Management:
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assess sales data and use it to develop sales strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  1. Reporting:
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales progress, goals, and forecasts to the management team.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends in the industry.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar managerial role in B2C sales.
  • Successful track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth in a business-to-business sales environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team of at least 10 members.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth understanding of CRM systems and best practices.
  • BS/BA degree in business administration, sales, or relevant field.
