**Must Have**:

- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ Years of IT experience establishing, maintaining, troubleshooting and securing networks and servers
- Demonstrated knowledge of concepts related to computer based medical systems, networking protocols, and information security as it applies to medical technology within VHA.
- Demonstrated skill in in communicating and working collaboratively with key stakeholders, including technical and professional staff at various levels of the organization.
- Understanding of regulatory agencies’ requirements, industry regulatory requirements and International Standard Organization standards.
- Experience may substitute for education requirements for this role.

**Nice to Have**:

- Project Management Certification or Experience managing projects for a company's IT Department
- IT Certifications such as Comp TIA Network +, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, CISCO CCNA, etc.
- Specific hospital or healthcare experience maintaining medical equipment or managing a hospital medical equipment program.
