**Credentialing Coordinator**

A growing Pathology and Molecular Laboratory headquartered in Buffalo Grove, IL is seeking a full-time _Credentialing Coordinator_ to join our organization that will be responsible for all aspects of the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for all medical providers within GoPath.

The _Credentialing Coordinator_ will need to maintain up-to-date data for each provider in a credentialing database, ensure timely renewal of licenses and certifications and be an initiative-taker. The position also entails collaborating with our contracting company to provide any necessary information and documents to help facilitate any contracting needs.

**Duties And Responsibilities**
- Processes and maintains physician accreditation, managed care, governmental and commercial insurance enrollment, and re-credentialing.
- Help develop internal credentialing processes and best practices.
- Maintains individual provider credential files with all the appropriate documentation.
- Oversees, updates, and maintains provider credential database including CAQH, PECOS, NPPES Registry, or other applicable regulatory agencies.
- Responds timely to provider inquiries by letter, phone or internal communication to facilitate credentialing or re-credentialing needs.

**Qualifications**
- Must have previous experience with medical credentialing of physicians with various insurance companies and states.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to be a self-starter and pivot tasks easily depending on need.
- Knowledgeable in policies, laws, and procedures for credentialing
- Certification (CPCS) or degree preferred but not required.
