**Job Summary**
Reporting to the Associate Director of Alumni Career Services, this individual will strategically plan, implement, staff, and execute young alumni and student events and programming that help foster a lasting experience for St. John’s graduates and a strong connection with their alma mater.
**Essential Functions**
- Coordinate and manage programming specifically designed for students to foster an understanding of Alumni Relations and the life-long relationships student can develop with their alma mater.
- Work with Student Government, Inc. (SGI) and other student clubs to build awareness of the Office of Alumni Relations.
- Work with the junior and senior classes to build a culture of philanthropy and raise money for a Senior Class gift.
- Identify ways to celebrate student milestones and increase our presence at year-end activities and graduation.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the Office of Career Services to coordinate events and resources for young alumni and students.
- Manage and steward the GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) committee, helping them plan events and fundraising opportunities.
- Manage and steward existing alumni affinity groups including the Executive in Residence Program, GLOBE, President’s Society, and Study Abroad and assist them with event planning and fundraising.
- Identify student clubs and activities that could form an alumni affinity group.
- Co-lead the Johnnies of the 21st Century program.
- Help create marketing pieces and social media posts that appeal to students and young alumni.
- Supervise Student Associates and Graduate Assistants assigned to Alumni Relations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

**Work Environment**
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as personal computers, printers, etc.
**Physical Demands**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand for periods of time; move about; sit; to carry work and use controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; communicate. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 - 50 lbs.
**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. including some nights and weekends. Ability to work longer hours when required.
**Travel**
Travel is primarily local, but there may be opportunities for regional travel when appropriate.
**Required Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years related advancement experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Other Duties**
- Liaise with various campus partners.
- Represent Alumni Relations at special events.
- Assist with full team events like Homecoming and Reunion.
