Allied Universal Services is currently searching for a **Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager**. Must be 21+ years of age with a Valid Driver's License.
**Job Summary**:
The Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager is an experienced leader responsible for leading a team of security operators & Supervisors to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents within the organization. The SOC Manager will work closely with the client security team, and other stakeholders to ensure the security of our client's assets, infrastructure, and people. The SOC Manager will also be responsible for maintaining the SOC's operations and ensuring that the team is able to provide effective and efficient incident response services.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage the SOC team & supervisors, providing guidance, training, and support as necessary.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents using various tools and technologies, including CAD, intrusion detection systems and cameras.
- Review response plans and playbooks, ensuring that they are up-to-date and relevant to the organization's needs.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, coordinating with other teams and external partners as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest threats and vulnerabilities, and work with other teams to implement effective countermeasures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on the SOC's performance, including metrics such as incident response time, incident resolution time, and incident volume.
- Continuously improve the SOC's operations and capabilities, implementing new processes as necessary to enhance the team's effectiveness.
**Qualifications**:
- Strong understanding of security technologies and methodologies, intrusion detection and prevention, and vulnerability management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team of security professionals and communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively to solve complex security problems.
- Professional certifications are strongly preferred.
**Working Conditions**:
The SOC Manager will work in a fast-paced environment and may be required to work outside of regular business hours in response to security/personnel incidents. The SOC Manager may be required to work in a noisy environment with frequent interruptions and may be required to sit for long periods of time. Protective equipment may be required when working with potentially hazardous materials.
