Per Mar Security Services has been a family owned and operated, full-service security company since its inception in 3. We provide security officer, electronic security, fire alarm and background and investigative services, serving customers in multiple states throughout the Midwest region.

PLEASE READ

Per Mar Security Services is seeking to hire full-time security officers for a new cannabis dispensary coming to Normal, IL . A start date of July has been tentatively scheduled, but may be slightly sooner or later.

Specific officer schedules are still being finalized. However, full time officers will be scheduled 2 -hour shifts and 2 6-hour shifts. Work hours will be between 8: a.m. - 9: p.m. Each position will be scheduled - hours per week. 
Hourly pay rate will be a minimum of $ per hour. 
Upon hire, you must be able to pass a background check, including a drug screen. You must also agree to travel to Davenport, Iowa for our new hire orientation/training day.

Prior security experience (PERC Holder) and/or industry experience is greatly desired.  This is an unarmed position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Age verification of customers. 
- Patrol business parking lots
- Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues to management
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
