**Position Summary**: Manages accounting functions within accounts payable, including maintenance of general ledger.

Position Responsibilities
- Develops implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
- Provides accounting assistance to Directors, Managers and staff
- Responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.
- Processes vendor invoices and employee expense reports
- Reconciles and codes MasterCard purchasing card charges online
- Handles vendor questions and vendor account reconciliations
- Researches accounts payable issues with various department personnel
- Month end activities including AP, corporate card and purchasing card accruals
- Local card manager for PNC prepaid debit card program
- Assist sport departments and business managers with accounts payable needs for tournaments
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
- Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
- Experience in an AP function
- Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good presentation skills for educating internal clients on accounting principles
- Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects
- Ability to multi task in a fast-paced organization
- A superior work ethic
- Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Bilingual
