Under general supervisor of the Information Technology Supervisor I, the incumbent will serve as the first-level point of contact for Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety (OEIS) end-users to remedy information desk help desk-related issues and requests that are well-defined tasks requiring occasional innovative problem-solving. The incumbent will perform a variety of tasks in connection with the support, analysis, development, installation, and implementation of personal computing devices, printers, and audio/visual (A/V) related equipment and software.
This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year. Failure to comply with the Conflict of Interest Code requirements may void the appointment.

Working Conditions
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- This position will travel throughout the State of California to provide on-site information technology and audio/visual (A/V) support on an as-needed and as-requested basis approximately 5% of the time.
