Laurelwood is a Property Management company that handles in-house management for a local development firm. Laurelwood’s portfolio consists of multifamily and mixed-use projects located within the Hollywood, West Hollywood, and Koreatown areas.

**Position: Assistant Property Manager**

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular weekly inspections of each property and ensure that all inspections are properly recorded in AppFolio
- Create work orders as needed for any property maintenance noted during inspections
- Maintain up-to-date vacancy listings across multiple platforms
- Respond to prospect inquiries in a timely fashion
- Schedule and conduct tours with prospective tenants
- Assist Property Manager in obtaining bids for work, as needed
- Assist Property Manager in maintaining up-to-date property records, and other administrative tasks such as filing, record keeping and data entry

**Experience**:

- 2+ years of experience within the Property Management field
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing provisions
- (Certification in Fair Housing preferred)
- Experience using property management software (AppFolio preferred)
- Impeccable attention to detail and ability to organize time and resources efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain optimistic, driven, and level-headed during difficult situations

This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in property management while contributing to the success of our residential community.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
