**Summary of Responsibilities**
- Schedule: Monday thru Friday - 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Manage a substantial volume of accounts promptly.
- Initiate collection calls and correspondences.
- Collect payment on overdue balances.
- Identify billing issues leading to non-payments.
- Assist clients with billing inquiries or complaints.
- Collaborate with the sales team to address billing concerns.
- Support clients with their account requirements, such as providing invoice copies, statements, and processing payments.

**Customer Service**
- Answer incoming phone calls.
- Assist customers with their account balances.
- Identify billing errors and prepare required corrections.
- Provide customers with requested invoice copies and statements.
- Provide customers with assistance and solutions with their account needs.
- Update customer accounts.

**Collections**
- Initiate phone calls on delinquent accounts.
- Discuss past due account balances with customers.
- Negotiate payments and payment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection attempts initiated.
- Follow up on payment commitments.
- Process payments.
- Manage over credit limit accounts.
- Generate aging to review days and balances past due.
- Collaborate with the sales team on customer accounts.
- Adhere to PACE Supply’s credit and collections policies.
- Explain PACE Supply’s credit terms and policies to customers.

**Clerical Duties**
- Scanning documents.
- Maintain electronic files.
- Redirect calls to appropriate personnel and departments.
- Proficient with using and operating computer equipment, printers, scanners, and photocopiers.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred. A combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.
- Strong analytical skills and process improvements mindset.
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, experience with Excel.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with others, including having empathy, active listening, and conflict resolution.
- Strong Interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication and collaboration.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team to meet common goals.
- Effective conflict resolutions abilities.
- Identify challenges, analyze information, and develop creative solutions.
- Problem-solving skills involve critical thinking, resourcefulness, Ability to adapt strategies in response to changing circumstances.
