**About the Opportunity**

This is a full time position based in Philadelphia at Oat Foundry’s HQ. The key responsibilities of this role are assisting sales and marketing in generating creative assets, preparation and delivery of Picture Flap artwork to the production team, and assisting the R&D team with new product render assets, all in service of delivering Oat Foundry’s products to businesses worldwide. This role has a consistent workload.

We are looking for a patient, conscientious, consistent, and cooperative team worker who is detail-oriented, while producing highly precise and beautiful creative work. The designer will be working across several departments, so the designer needs strong teamwork and collaboration skills. The job requires attention to the detail, handling creative assets with careful attention to the quality. The focus is on working comfortably under close supervision within a stableteam. The pace of the job is steady and relatively unhurried, with an inclination to keep doing things the same way unless directed otherwise by your manager. When there is change in the structure of work or scope of responsibility, ample time will be provided to learn the new work thoroughly with opportunity for repetitive practice. When the job requires work to be completed under time pressures or in changing situations, management will provide close support and encouragement.

**COMPENSATION & EMPLOYMENT STATUS**

Reports to the Creative Director at HQ - Philadelphia, PA

**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:
Graphic Design for Sales, Marketing, and Product support:

- Assist in generating creative assets, including marketing decks, price sheets, photo editing, advertisements, and our lookbook.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure design consistency and brand alignment.
- Assisting the Portal team with page layouts and UI/UX.
- Assisting R&D team with new product renders
- Provide creative input and design render assets for new product development.
- Work closely with the R&D team to visualize and refine product concepts.

Picture Flap Artwork Preparation and Delivery:

- Utilize Oat Foundry's PF Bezel Template for art layout.
- Ensure high-quality imagery in Vector (EPS, AI, SVG) or high-resolution Raster formats (TIFF, PNG).
- Manage the CMYK color space and DPI settings for optimal print quality.
- Accurately place visual assets within the Picture Flap bezel template, considering the physical constraints of the sign.
- Export visual assets for print or share directly with Oat Foundry, following specific naming and file format guidelines.
- Proof layouts and images, ensuring accuracy from submission to printing.

Quality Assurance and Collaboration:

- Ensure that all designs meet internal standards and client expectations.

**YOU WILL NEED**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and a solid understanding of design principles
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual composition and color
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Creativity and problem-solving skills to adapt quickly as client’s needs change
